People behind the curriculum
We build mobile-first design courses for learners across Australia - practical, structured, and built around how people actually use their phones.

What we do
Operating since 2017betssilo24 started as a response to a straightforward gap: most design courses assumed a desktop-first world, while learners were designing for screens that fit in a pocket. We built the curriculum around that reality.
Every module covers a specific, testable skill - from touch target sizing to responsive grid construction - rather than broad design theory that's hard to apply.
Remote access by design
Our platform was built for learners who don't have easy access to in-person training. Modules load quickly on mobile connections and are structured for self-paced progress.
74% of enrolled learners access course material from regional or rural postcodesInstructors and contributors
The people who write and review course content have worked in mobile product design - they're not summarising textbooks, they're drawing from real project experience.
Roisin spent nine years designing mobile interfaces for fintech and health apps before joining betssilo24. She writes the core modules on layout systems and interaction patterns.
Tadeusz reviews all course content against WCAG standards and contributes modules on accessible mobile design. He previously audited digital products for a federal government agency.
Amara brings mobile usability research into the curriculum, helping translate academic findings into practical exercises learners can complete on their own devices.
